Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Martin Luther King Jr. (1929–1968) was one of the leaders of American civil rights movement. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.

After his assassination, he was memorialized by Martin Luther King Jr. Day, observed on the third Monday of January each year.
